We have undertaken interventions that help us to build resilience of children facing disasters and climate variabilities.

India is highly exposed to disasters and climate events, at times recurrent and multiple, such as earthquakes, floods, cyclones, landslides and droughts. Urban areas are more exposed to fire hazards than other hydro-geological disasters. Melting snow and glaciers, changing landscape and biodiversity, loss of water bodies and temperature fluctuation not only have an impact on food, health, and potable water but also affects children, their families, and communities, make them prone to further shocks and stresses.
