This financial assistance will be provided for the marriage of daughters of economically weaker families, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Minorities etc. Under the Delhi Poor Widowand#39;s Daughter andamp; Orphan Girls Marriage Scheme, the age of the daughter should be 18 years or more at the time of marriage. To take advantage of this scheme, the application form has to be submitted to the district office of the Department of Women and Child Development 60 days before the marriage. The scheme is administered by the Department of Women and Child Development. Earlier, only those families whose annual income was ? 60000 or less could take advantage of this scheme, but now families with annual income of ? 100000 or less would be able to take advantage of this scheme.
